Fun course, great value

This course was great fun to play. Although not very long, the holes are very challenging with many dog-legs and difficult sloping greens. The one staff member we encountered was grumpy and rude. Our tee-time was at 7am and the front gates did not open until 6:55am which left no time to warm-up or hit the practice green. In fact, they tell you to arrive 15-20 minutes early, which forced my foursome to wait in a nearby church parking lot since the road access to the golf parking lot was chained shut. A bit of an inconvenience and the staff member offered no apology. However, I would play again.

Great challenge

If you enjoy a good challenge then this course is right for you. From the blind tee shots, hills, sloped greens, and many water hazards, Theres alittle bit for everyone here. I make the trip atleast 3-4 times a year. Price is abit high for the drive but Golf now usually comes through with something.

Wicked awesome vs wicked witch.

I'm conflicted about Wicked Woods. On one hand, there is the really interesting and beautiful elevation changes that require you to examine club selection. On the other, there's the outright silly greens. Even after a day of rain, they slope so much you easily putt right off of them. You have healthy rough, continuous cart path and nice fairways. But you also get a dumb layout with back-to-back par 5s followed by back-to-back par 3s on the back 9. Much like the game itself, Wicked Woods is fun and frustrating all at once.

I wouldn't make Wicked Woods my home course, but it's worth a trip once or twice every year.

Masters Greens

Great course layout. Very challenging. The greens are some of the toughest in the state of Ohio. Tight fairways and a pleasure to play. I'll give the course condition an A-. A must to play if you never played it. I drive 45 miles each way to play it and it is well worth the drive. If you play 18 here and don't 3 putt at least once. You should be on tour.

Hilly, demands club selection and accuracy; well maintained; greens always very good to excellent with a lot of slope; great value.

Beautiful and very well maintained course. Terrain is very hilly and wooded creating club selection challenges (placement is everything); not a course for long hitters that spray the ball all over. Greens have been very good to excellent throughout the 2012 season; the greens have a lot of slope and undulations because of the natural terrain (and can be frustrating at times). Good course for an enjoyable and challenging round of golf on a shorter layout. (And no, I do not work there.)

This course offer some challenging hole placement.

I enjoy playing courses with mature trees they make shot selection interesting throughout the round. I used almost the clubs in my bag. This course allowed me to try shots that i nevered tried before.
