Memberships still available but course has been open to the public and a few years now. Historic 200 year old clubhouse with golf club nearly 100 years old. 5 par 3s and 3 par fives, par 70. Four sets of tees from 5000 to 6450 yards. On hole has a choice of 2 fairways, but trees left, out of bounds right and a creek in the middle. Other holes have blind shots, severe doglegs over water and one hole with a drive-able par 4 green for those who can belt it 275 high over trees cutting the dogleg.. The fees are reasonable. The friendly staff brought out free cold bottled water. Nice touch. The clubhouse features a golfer's retreat with big screen TVs and a nice menu as well as formal and event dining. You can even stay and play bed and breakfast style, but be aware that the place is haunted. I heard that the ghosts are friendly. We had a nice drive from northern Cincinnati that took about 45 minutes.

Relatively short course, but many elevation changes. Good set of five par threes, two uphill, two downhill, and across a swale. most difficult holes for me are #4, which has a stream forcing you to choose sides, # 10, with a tee shot needed in just the right place, and #16, a medium par five calling for an approach to a very elevated green.
