Reid Park offers two 18-hole golf courses, the North and the South. The North Course presents one of the toughest challenges in the Springfield area while the more player-friendly South is the home course to several area high school golf teams. The North Course is a championship layout that will challenge even the most avid golfers. It's a tough but fair test that features large, fast greens and mature trees that loom above the fairways. The elevation changes are really what characterize the golf course though. The up-and-down makes for a variety of interesting holes that will have you using all the clubs in your golf bag. Coupled with a variety of strategically placed bunkers, the course's contours are a formidable feat. Reid Park's South Course is for those seeking a more recreational round.
