The course is literally on a par with most of the country club courses that I have played. It's not an easy course especially from the back tees. I really appreciate the elevated tees. There was some water damage to a few holes due to river flooding but it's being rapidly repaired. I actually had a 2 on a par 4 that was using a temporary green. The temp green was easier to putt on than the tricky regular greens. For a public course comparison, I would compare this course to the Dennison University course in Granville, Ohio and Clover Valley in Johnstown, Ohio. Pay attention to the fairway layout on 18. It's a surprise.

The course has too many dog legs, and is a little too chopped up for my taste. 8 of us golfed last week and despite being inside at the bar twice, we could not get anyone to wait on us. Especially at the turn after waiting 5 minutes, we left and proceeded to #10. needless to say, we did not go in afterwards either.
You can have God design the golf course, but if you don't take care of the customers, they won't be back.

Great track, getting better every month. If you want to shoot a low score you better be able to move the ball on purpose. I am an avid golfer and played most of the courses from Stark County to Lorain County including CC's and this course will be one of the best in Ohio very soon.

eventually this will be quite the challenge. Right now it needs maturing. Too much dirt and unplayable areas. Will also help to have a clubhouse to unwind in when its finished. May price themselves out of some portion of the market.
