- This course is now under new management. Great young people. Great course with a lot of promise and all they need are new tees for the ladies. If it was my course I would place Senior or gold tees where the ladies tee is currently and build new red tees for the lady. i.e. #1 hole place at the bottom short of the creek. This and a number of other holes would make this course very senior and lady friendly and that is all you need. You will be amazed as the play increases with senior and ladies. e-mail me and I'd be glad to discuss further. You need leagues both lady and men's leagues. All leagues have seniors and they want to compete.The condition of this course was great. The course Superintendent should be complimented. The pace was very good and the operating personnel, from the clubhouse to the mower operater, were very cordial. I would highly recommend this course for any skill player.I've been golfing for 30 years and I have run across the worst public course to date. Let's start in the pro shop. Everyone, The starter, ranger, the girl that rings you up for your hot dog, even some of the "good old boy" patrons are an example of how far away from service and providing a quality golf course golf has come in some of the courses in Ohio. Some of the concrete bridges on the course should be condemned by the USGA. They are truely hazards. Greens, fairways, yes even the rough, are unkept. Tee boxes are a mess and no one fixes there ball marks on the green, let alone "one other". There is not even an attempt by the course owner to help keep the course up. Save your money on this course.
They should pay you to play this course.
Seems like the new management has this place headed in the right direction. My pals and I are excited to see what kind of improvements might turn up in the next few years or so
