Live close and enjoy playing close to home. For the price, the greens were not maintained to the point were putts were unplayable. It appears there not sure what kind of course they want to be. Hopefully they will lower green fees if there not going to maintain the course.

I have lived by this course for more than 30 years. I often wondered what it would be like to play there, so when it went public last year I would finally get my chance. My first impression was wow this place looks bad! There was construction everywhere and the course was in bad shape. My next impression was the staff really didn’t want us the (public) here. The guy taking our money made a point to wait on every single person at the bar even if they got there after us. We had a four-some and were playing a two person scramble to move along quickly. However that did not stop the old group behind us riding up our backs and calling the ranger on us to speed up. When we complained to the manager we were told don’t come back. If you want to golf a terrible course with terrible management this is your place! Many nicer places in Elyria to golf, which actually want your business. Needless to say I was very disappoint and will not feel bad when they go out business and all the old members have no place to golf…..
