Located just 35 minutes from Cleveland, Little Mountain Country Club in Concord is known throughout the area for its bunkers. Deep hardly begins to describe them and they border both the greensides and fairways. Although the cavernous bunkers are challenging, they are strategically placed to provide a challenge for better golfers but there is still ample room for less advanced players. The intimidatingly steep walls go as deep as 20 feet below the putting surface, they are enough to scare even the most seasoned golfers. The layout has diverse mix of holes that require the use of all the clubs in your bag. Little Mountain Country Club finishes with a dramatic par 4 that is one of the golf course's most difficult holes. The five-star-rated Little Mountain is well worth the two-hour drive from Pittsburgh or Columbus.

- Used to be a great course. New management has really let it fall from grace. Fairway bunkers are mud/rock pits. Roughs are burnt out. Should be $25-35 a round. Not worth $50+ a round.Terrible course, greens top dressed with sand and bunkers have no sand just large rocks, what a joke $ 50 round....never again. Was told last year they were going to fix the greens and traps but still terrible. We thought we would give it a try, and nothing has been done. Fairways were good but all courses look good with all the rain.Played this course for the first time Memorial Day weekend 2014. Very challenging with deep bunkers in strategic areas - but still a lot of fun. Beautiful layout plays through wooded hills with a view of Lake Erie from 17, so even if you're playing poorly, the grounds will keep you smiling. Also, very friendly staff!
This course didn't receive 5 stars due to serious burn out on several (i'd say 7) of the greens - the other 12 greens ranged from adequate to perfect. Big kudos to management which let us know about the green issues on the phone when we booked the time, they went so far as to comp us each a free bucket of balls for the range.

Played it today and could not be happier.If you enjoy boulders in every bunker, horrendous tee boxes, a terribly run pro shop, having three groups jump in front of you at the turn, and a 5 1/2 hour round, then Little Mountain is the place for you.
