I have played at Kennsington for 5 years - averaging one round per week. Every round is a unique challenge because this course is so dynamic and each hole so varied that one always is thinking and strategizing. The sheer vastness and beauty of its landscape is unrivaled in the region. Presently the course is in the best shape of it's history since it opened in 2007. Also - the complex - with the driving range - large putting/practice areas and the Kennsington Grille, Waypoint Conference Center, Courtyard Marriott Hotel along with the newly opened State of the Art Golf Simulators make this the most robust golf destination in the region.

As for the holes of note - #1 deceptive! Keep it to the right or you will start your round with frustration. It's a wonderful hole - but can readily trap you. Hole #2 - what a blast - what a view - try going to the right of the trees in the enter - that's a true challenge. #3 - be gutsy and be mindful of the waste area before the green - wide to lay up - but if you are a lion - go for that green. #4 Very doable - but again - takes some guts on shot number two to go for the green. #5 - a blast - DO NOT USE DRIVER unless you can strike > 320 yards with confidence. Then fear not the gully on shot two - try to get on top of the hill. #6 - a joyful pat three - gettable. #7 - very tricky. The green is very very down-hill - so be mindful when you approach it. This may be the most difficult hole to birdie - par is possible (bit not for many). #8 one of the most majestic par threes in the region. Aim left to be safe and do not get intimidated by the large waste area. Take aim and go for it. #9 - another challenge - like so many others - this can be very intimidating - simply aim at the small trees across the gully and swing with confidence - then go for the HUGE Oak Tree and you are on!
Well that's all for now - on the back nine - so much fun - just watch #16!!!! perhaps the most difficult (but exciting) hole on the course. After your drive - good luck!

I love this course - you will too. Now get out there and, as Harvey says, "TAKE DEAD AIM"

Played golf today using the Golf Now specials. The course was amazing, the greens in perfect shape. The fairways we well maintained with every divot that I could see filled. They are putting alot of money into the course with a lot of drainage projects going on all over.
