Diamond Back Golf Course opened for play in 1959 and since then it has been known among locals as one of the area's best values. When it was built, championship courses were much shorter than those you'll see today, which explains the course's seemingly short length of 6,166 yards. The holes range from the shortest at 120 yards to the course's longest, the 545-yard fourth. This lengthy par 5 is also the course's no. 1 handicap hole. Far from being a hole where you can grip it and rip it, you'll need accuracy to fare well. Diamond Back Golf Course's par 4s are also known for being particularly challenging with several featuring sand, water, or a tricky uphill or downhill lie. The layout provides a fun test that is not overly punishing. Players of all skill levels will be able to enjoy the golf course.

A great course tucked away from your main roads and towns. Its a gem in Mahoning County. The greens were awesome and the workers were very helpful and nice. Great price. I will be back often!
