Elks Run Golf Club

Situated amidst lush, rolling hills in Batavia, Elks Run Golf Club has the benefit of being tucked away far from any homes or other distractions. Greg Norman designed the course. He worked carefully with the natural terrain to make a playable but challenging course with several risk-reward opportunities. The layout features rolling, tiered greens bordered by well placed sod wall bunkers. There are some challenging elevation changes that make some of the tees appear to suspend your balls in the air forever. There is also an unusually thick first cut of rough as well as tall native grasses bordering the fairways. Elks Run Golf Club's first nine holes have a more open, links-style layout while the back nine is more wooded. The meandering creek also comes into play on the last nine holes.
