I play here every week. Amazingly beautiful course. I have played many professional and resort courses and this course rates better than most. One of the best in Ohio. It has great potential but is poorly managed for the price.

I'll say this for positive. The course is very challenging , and the potential that can be here is enormous.

Now to my negatives. The price is not worth it because of the pace of play. You can't put on your website about pace of play and not enforce it. 6 hours to play 18 for hair a two some is pathetic. Why can't some of these nicer courses like this one enforce pace of play have Rangers out on the holes and get people moving, use golf etiquette. One guy two groups in front of us played with no shoes on for who knows what reason. I mean come on for 50 bucks I expect the course to be in great shape , golf etiquette to be followed by all golfers which means staff enforce it. I am sick and tired of most of the courses in this area not giving a care about pace of play and just jam packing courses where every hole every shot you are waiting. Golf part of it is momentum and rhythm when you are going good sitting at every hole every shot ruins the experience of golfing.

Played the course in November and was in great shape. I have been playing here for the last ten years and have never found the people to be anything but accommodating.

One of my favorite courses in Northeast Ohio. Each hole is a challenge in itself. The course is always in great shape and although I do not always score my best I enjoy every round . It offers a huge varieties of tees so any skill level can enjoy a round her. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. Boulder Creek remains one of my favorites.

One of the best if not the best public course in NE Ohio. The layout will make you think and use every club in the bag. Many risk and reward options, what you see is what you get. Greens are large and full of challenging undulations, slopes and are quick. Elevation changes are plentiful and each hole presents its own set of challenges which makes this a great track. Highly Recommend, choose your tees wisely in order to enjoy!!

Boulder Creek one of the top 2 courses in NE Ohio and top 5 in all of Ohio. Conditions are always excellent and the price is very fair for this type of course. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

I'll start by saying this course has a great layout and is very challenging because of its length. That's where the good part stops. Pace of play is horrendous. I have played here a few times and not once have I finished 18 holes under 6 hours. It seems to me that management doesn't care about your experience after you shell out the $65 to play here. Ball marks on every green, divots in fairways and there's always something under construction on this course. Sad to see such potential being wasted by poor management.

Read the other reviews...they are spot on. poorly managed. tee time reservation system is outrageous...credit card fees and cancellation fees... seriously?? have you guys heard of Golfnow?? all the courses do it now. stop charging $65 dollars, this is a public course in Streetsboro ohio....I also love how their facebook page posts so called "specials" which consists of $39 rate on a Tuesday midday when it is 90% chance of rain.

pace of play is 6+ hours for 18. clear your day if you plan on playing.

Management are you listening to your customers??

Let me start by saying, this course has so much potential but seems to be poorly managed.

lets start with the overall conditions. The course for the most part is equal to if not better than a typical public golf course. it seems to me like the greens no matter the time of year always have so much sand on them. fairways and tee boxes are slightly above average.

Pricing- i want to love this course but for what they charge to play is idiotic. $70 for a weekend morning and $55 for afternoon during peak season is too high. $45 for weekend morning and $35 for afternoon seems to be the rate and will be competitive with other local public courses.

Pace of play- this is where the course really needs to improve. I understand the course is very long and difficult but to finish 18 in 7 hours is not acceptable. the two times i played 18 this year it took 6 1/2 and & 7 hours. this is what is ironic about the pace of play. the rangers are morons and no matter how your pace of play is you get yelled at.

needless to say this is a once of year type of course for my foursome. too pricey and way to slow. until they improve the pricing and somehow figure out to speed up play i dont see myself being a repeat customer during the season.

Loved it. Great condition for this time of year. Staff was friendly, I was a little weary from other reviews but they helped us get out without a tee time on a jam packed day gave us a bucket of range balls while we waited. Excited to see the new amenities that the course needs like a restaurant and locker room next year. First time playing and it is now my favorite course.

The greens were plugged and filled with sand last week. We were told the were rated an 8 out of 10. More like a 4. There was work being done all over the course. I can see why slow play is an issue.

If I could give less than one star, I would. The woman who books tee times is the absolute rudest person to ever work in customer service. After following the stated rules on the website for canceling a tee time - giving 48 hours notice, she still charged us for the times because she was annoyed about the cancellation. We are a group of firefighters that were called in to work and we were not just canceling to ruin her day. Not only did she charge the card, but she was degrading on the phone and sent rude emails scolding me for canceling. She said that if I would have been more apologetic, she would not have charged us! So extremely unprofessional. Boulder Creek should really re-think this manager, especially considering we travel over an hour to golf on their course every year. Never again.

This is a very nice design and relatively fair. I enjoyed the course but was shocked by the $64 Saturday morning green fee. Course condition is just average, greens in good shape but pretty slow, but not worth the price considering the other options in the area. To make matters worse, they charge a 1% fee to use a credit card. The extra 64 cents is not a big deal, but it seems real petty after forking over 64 bucks. Also, the bushes and landscaping around the tees are too much. In many cases you can't see your playing partners tee shot if you are sitting in your cart, and on the first par 3 on the back the landscape bushes block your view of the green if you are playing the blue tees! Pretty silly. I like the course and would like to go back, but I probably won't because I don't like getting ripped off. Judging from the lack of play we saw on our visit, it seems others might feel the same way.

was excited to play this course but from the moment we got there we were treated like we didnt belong there. First tee we were approached by a worker in a confrentational manner saying he herd us complaining when we didnt say anything. We had the same worker follow us on every hole. 3 workers were working and wouldnt get out of the way so we teed off and almost hit them. We got up to where are balls landed and we noticed they picked one up and put it in their carts until we asked for it back. Then they blew dust in our faces with the blowers. The back nine was good enouh to allow carts out yet they wouldnt budge on cart path only. Walking 150 yards for every shot isnt fun. Would not reccomend and it takes alot for me to complain.

Beautiful layout, challenging course, diffiuclt greens. But it took 5 hours to play a round on a Friday in October. That's much too long. But what's worse is the cusotmer service. When you tell the clubhouse that play is slow and that you teed off 20 minutes late, you don't get help. What you get is a lecture from the ranger that this is the norm on such a popular course. So we're the problem? They can't manage their tee times and their rangers can't move the pace of play but that's ok in their book. Finally, on the back 9, a young ranger found a group that was slow and moved them. Things sped up immediately. Why the first ranger coudln't have done that, I don't know. Maybe she was too busy writing the lecture she gave us about how wonderful the place is. I won't be back.

Awesome layout. Very long even from the white tees. Course is not in great shape considering the money we paid. $55 for 18 and cart. No yardage or layout books for sale and much needed considering the blind shots, bunkers and water hazards. But you can dowload their app if you have a smart phone. Not everyone has smart phones. Fairways not in great shape, some with just dirt in the middle. Was expecting better with all the awards won in the PAST! Glad I played it but would never go back.

A lovely and challenging course requiring precision from tee to green. A number of holes feature elevation changes and / or carries over water. 7500 yards from the black tees. All in all, not for beginners.

Unfortunately, the difficulty leads to slow play. Course maintenance is good, not great; clubhouse facilities are limited; staff is young and pleasant but perhaps a little relaxed.

Were it not for these limitations this would be a five-star course.

Pros- beautiful landscape, fast greens, cute girls welcoming me, and bag boys that get your bag from your car, Cons- ball marks on greens, divots in fairway, outside staff would not move (didn't care about us) the tees are way too elevated, clubhouse is junk, never seen a bev cart girl, stop worrying about more flowers and fix the carts or buy new ones... My cart broke down 2 times and had to have 2 different carts brought out to me..

Wonderful course with a great layout and greens. Took us 5.5 hours to play. Took an hour to play 8,9 and 10. At one point there were 18 people of the 10th hole...a group on the green, group in the fairway, 2 twosome in front of us waiting to tee off, our group and the group playing behind us. The staff pretends to care about the pace of play but obviously they really don't give a hoot. Last time we'll play there. Too many other great courses to choose from and enjoy.

Our tee time was 30 minites behind. There were 3 groups on every hole, 9 holes took 3 1/2 hours. They did give us a 9 hole rain check. Nice golf course but not worth the time or drive. They don't seem to care if you come back or not. They didn't have a beverage cart, bag boy's were to busy texting to unload or load our clubs. There are too many golf courses in ohio to choose from and I will not choose this one again.

This course is a resort type course. Not a course for high handicappers It was in great shape and there is no other course like it in this area. Tough pin placements and you could three putt easily if you went after the hole aggressively. Used the tee time Ohio golf pass and it was a great, great bargain for $35! I will be back.

Took us 5.5 hours to play a round of golf!! I won't play this course again because of this issue!! Seemed like nobody really cared. They didn't get after people to pick up and move along. Saw a cart girl 1 time. She was sitting at the No. 14 green!

Very challenging with wonderful scenery. Most scenic course I've played in ohio. Would have given five stars but the island hole green was burned off when I was there (green died sand). Also pin placements were almost comical in corners and on hillsides. I-80 roaring by takes some of the wilderness feel off, too. Worth a trip.

Challenging par 3's,especially the island par 3 number 17. Enjoy number 2,use you head and not your muscle.Hope you enjoy this course half as much as I do.
