- God awful course. Greens are diseased year round, the fairways are either rock hard or completely flooded. There's more dirt than grass on this course. Don't even know why they charge you because it's clear they put no money into the course. The service is also awful, the guy behind the counter has no regard for customers and is a complete asshole.The front nine of this course is a fun challenge. I have played it several times of the last two seasons and have not been disappointed. I know, that before the new ownership took over, reviews were bad, but I have not had any complaints. $10 for 18 holes before noon is a great deal. The front nine is a great little course that is more challenging than most executive style courses. It is wooded and has streams and lakes come into play. The back nine is okay, it is more of a links style (or at least more open). Staff is very friendly and helpful.Waited in line to pay for round of golf. Person behind desk more concerned about guys at the bar that paying golfers.Great for newer folders. The greens are nice but not very challenging. Back 9 is very short, great if you only have an hour or so. Fairways could be better, but not the worst I have seen. Great prices, never paid more then 33 for 18/cart.Awful course. Fairways were all in horrid shape likewise for the greens, the bunkers had more weeds than sand and were full of rocks. Will never go back.I am new to the game of golf, and have found that EVERY TIME I play here (which is very frequently b/c of the amazing deal of 9 holes for $5, weekdays) the staff is friendly and helpful and very supportive of my efforts. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret while another part of me wants it to succeed BIG TIME!I have played the back 9 of this course about 10 times , it has many challenge s . I am excited about the front is now open there is a par 3 with railroad ties it looks like a postcard on a famous course ! The staff is great and very friendly , if you have the time this is a course for you ! Again thanks !
