Crooked Tree Golf Course

Average course, but don't bother with tee times. They don't go by them. we showed up at our time and there was a line of carts and I asked about my time and he said they were on time. I showed him the line of carts and he said just go out there and tell them I should go next. People were jumping holes and everything. I told them about a group that drove all the way to the green on all par 3's and virtually walked out of their cart on the green and they didn't seem to care.

Know your clubs/irons distance. Not forgiving if you hit an away shot. Leave the I can hit it farther than you ego at home.

course is in very poor condition. tee boxes were all torn up and the fairways were not in good condition either. greens were fair. course is very tight with very few holes that a driver could be used off the tee. hardly any yard markers. the course needs to give out yardage books and not sell them. play was very slow. many people were leaving the course starting at 12th tee box through 18 due to slow play.

I wanted to give this course another chance after I had blacklisted it a few years ago. But on this particular day I had to re-blacklist it. The wait between holes/ shots/ everything was out of control slow. They was no physical way to get into any sort of rhythm.

The course overall was in good condition, but I think the greens were made of concrete. Nobody in my threesome could hold the green on our approaches. It would fine if it were July or August but it is the middle of April for crying out loud.

The likelihood of me coming bak this year is slim to none.

We played early in the season. The course was aerated recently, which really played havoc with the putting. The staff was friendly, the fees were reasonable.

Great course for the cost. The pace of play was good and t he course was in great condition.

It was really windy and my buddy and i were stuck behind a slow 4some but we took our time and had a blast

The course is well priced. The layout is fun and challenging. The course does hold water. Not a very friendly course when wet. I play this course frequently. It is a nice play, secluded and quiet. Usually has plenty of players on the course but plays quick. The greens are decent and the fairways are maintained. Price makes this a popular choice among locals.

The greens were hard to hold. Fairways were impossible to hold. I was hitting drives 325-350 yards when I only average 280 yards. The ball would just roll for days. I love the layout and is one of my favorites, but it was hard to get quality results for quality swings. Showed up 12 minutes before round and was rushed to the tee box.

Good course and well maintained. It is good place to play.

Got to the course after getting lost for almost a half an hour in the surrounding neighborhood, as you cannot trust gps or rely on there being signs telling you where to go. Once we got to the course, the staff was friendly, but didn't do a great job of directing us on where the first tee was or which cart to take. In terms of the course, it was in ok shape for the hot summer that we had, but some of the pins were put in sections of the greens that had burned out. The design of the golf course is pretty ridiculous, and I suggest that if you like to hit driver off the tee, don't play here. If it is your first time playing the course and don't buy a yardage book, you will have no idea where to play the ball off the tee.

Course is in good condition, greens hold and putt true. Course layout is excellent with many challenging holes. One of the favorite courses our senior group plays. Excellent value.

I really enjoy playing Crooked Tree. It is a very tight course, with holes cut out through the woods and lots of doglegs. There is also quite a bit of elevation change. I love to look for errant golf balls and this is a great course for that. My experience was diminished because the guys with which I was paired were terrible players and theri attitude matched their play. But this is not the fault of the course.

Interesting holes and definitely a unique course. But I wouldn't play there unless a friend invited me to go there.

had to be a record day for wind! maybe why I shot so bad...

was wide open. waited 2 minutes on 17 and never anywhere else on the course. great value.

Went there on a wim for a change in venue. I'll be back soon!! Watch out for the roll
when playing in dry conditions.
