PORT CLINTON, OHIO -- A golf course renovation project designed by Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest and Associates is featured in the latest improvements at the Catawba Island Club. The condominium communities at The Sanctuary and Harbor's Edge are the latest in several phases of construction at this private resort on the shores of Lake Erie near Port Clinton.

These improvements come on the heels of lakefront enhancements that include a new pool complex, an events pavilion and a marina store and boardwalk.

According to James V. Stouffer, Jr., CEO of the Catawba Island Club, "Our goal for the past 35 years has been to provide a family-oriented setting complemented by services and facilities for an active lifestyle."

The condominium units at The Sanctuary will surround a 10-acre inland lake on the grounds, while Harbor's Edge is located next to the Club's 330-slip marina. Both communities feature views of the Arthur Hills designed golf holes, which are under construction and will be playable next season. These homes will feature three bedrooms with first-floor master suites. Spacious patios will provide intimate areas for relaxing or entertaining guests, while enjoying the casual pace of passing friends as they engage in a leisurely round of golf.

The construction of the residences is being spearheaded by Janotta & Herner, Inc. For more than 40 years, Janotta & Herner has been building a reputation based on the highest standards of quality while providing the best value for its clients. As of the year 2000, the company is now employee-owned, further deepening its commitment to quality and reputation long into the future. At Janotta & Herner the slogan is "Our Reputation Is Building" note company principles Mel Miller, Jim Shelley and Ken Schaefer. "Whether customers assume that the company's level of experience is getting bigger all the time, or that we're known for our top quality construction, we would be happy either way," boasts Miller.
