Three of us went or Old Avalon golf course last Friday at 6:15 pm the course was wet and they told us to keep the golf carts on the path. When we were teeing off on the 3rd hole the starter shove up to us and said to pick up Thad pause while one of us was on the tee ready hi hit the ball. On the 8th hole he came again and said I thought I told you to hurry up. I told him it’s a little tough when you have to walk to the other side of the fairway to find your ball then back to get the right club. There wasn’t anyone but us on the course. All in all it took 2-1/4 hours. Won’t go back there till they get new managers.

Years ago, I took up golf when I moved to Warren, Oh. Probably 40 of my first 100 rounds were played on this course. The course was plush well maintained and pleasure to play.
Yesterday I decided to play nine holes at Old Avalon. This course is the worst condition of any course I have ever played. Terrible fairways, awful greens. The fairways may be the only brown fairways in Northern Ohio.
I have used the driving range recently and it and the course are indicative of a management that has no idea what they are doing.
