Shawnee Lookout Golf Course

Very hilly course hard to get a flat lie even in the middle of fairway. Course was in great condition and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Be prepared for a challenge when you play here.

We had a great time playing this course. while there are not a lot of amenities, the course itself was in great condition. Be prepared for a lot of hilly lies, even if in the middle of the fairway. Still a great time!

Also, this course is part of the hamilton county park district, so a parking pass is required

like I said back nine has a great layout some holes have a great view green are in great shape

The course is great and fun, but can be hard at times for the high handicapper. I not that great, but I'll play here anyways. It's fun and a good deal.

The course was in good condition, however, it was so hilly and was very exhausting even with a cart. I couldn't even imagine trying to walk this course.

This course is very hilly. I will never play it again or recommend it to anyone. Hamilton County should convert it to a motor cross track.

Shawnee is always in excellent condition and the staff is super friendly. It is a short hilly course with beautiful views. Greens have severe undulation and par is always a good score no matter how short the hole is. I would say greens are very difficult for the average golfer.

My only real knock on the course are holes 15&16. Beyond difficult especially the par 5 15th.

Will definitely come back though.

Shawnee along with Hickory Sticks are the worst two courses in the greater Cincinnati area. Very little discernible difference between fairway and rough, never a flat lie, poor pin placements all lead to a round that is not enjoyable no matter the cost. Look elsewhere.

This course is very hilly. The par fives have several dog legs, you can't use driver on them. Rough had lots of clover, hard to find ball. Greens are nice though. Will not go back. Staff is very friendly.

First time playing this course. Had a lot of rain days prior so even the fairways were overgrown (lost a few balls on the fairways and even within a foot of the cart path) but was fun to play. Steep grades add more challenge to this course but also make it more fun. Staff was fun and helpful as well. Definitely more challenging that was expected but still a good time.

A good course & booking it thru GolfNow allowed us to play for a great price. Everything was taken care of when we got there & it was off to the 1st tee. Course was in pretty good shape for early spring & considering all the rain we've had

This course is close to my home and golfnow always has good deals for the course. The course has lots of hills and walking is not recommended.

The price was right! The course is a course where you have to be percise! You have to be able to play to a position. Fairways are tight in most cases with not a lot of forgiveness if you make a mistake. It's also hilly with sloped fairways. It would be a long day for anyone who shoot in the 90s up. They most likely wouldn't like it. I wanted to play it because of the challenge and it proved challenging! Ineverpulled out the driver and ended up shooting a 82 with one mulliganwhich was the best I ever played it. You have to play position golf. You have to hit the ball straight. You have to be able to hit from uneven lies, and you have to be able to putt. Again the course is tough. If your just out to have fun in the sun, this isn't the course for it! I play all over Kentucky, Ohio, Ny, and Indiana. This course, to me is the third hardest course I've played! I had to stay within myself. Nothing crazy and I did just that so I was satisfied with my results!

We make plans to play this course every year as it's one of my daughters favorites - fun lay out that teaches you to make good contact with poor lies. It was Oct. so we got good deal at 20 per person with cart and we had a good time and the people there were super nice! However, I've played this course for many years and this was the worst condition I've ever seen it. The fairways were gone. Never got a decent lie in a fairway because they are all dirt or crab grass/weeds. The weeds around the greens wasn't much better. It's a darn shame since when it was healthy it was a very pretty course. But the county has really let it go. Please do something before it is too late to bring it back.

For the price it was worth it. However the fairways are in bad shape and the roughs need to be cut very high grass had to find your ball. The course could be a very good course with water and grass cutting.

Would not walk this course based on the hills (You would be more that exhausted) but had a great day on the course riding the 18...I was the first out for the day and played 18 holes in 2 hours and 15 minutes!! Greens rolled very true and was consistent and saw work being done on the course....a few places you would get a lesser than lie but played as ground under repair...Everyone I had contact with was very nice and I would play there again.

Course was tough. Multiple blind tee shots, elevated greens and a lot of hills. Very very challenging on multiple shots, but also for the above average golfer can cause you some headache. Off the beaten path so no one was on the course so we could take our time and really enjoy the round and think over our shots. Would recommend to anyone however staff isn't the most friendly, felt like it was inconvenience to actually assist us. Sat there and watched tv before wven helping us and didn't acknowledge our presence for quite some time on the pro shop

Challenging scenic course layout. If u don't care not using your driver all day and you can keep your ball below the hole, but you will enjoy this course
