- Great course for beginner, middlers, and anyone looking for a change of pace and simple challenges. Variety in the layout, low price, congenial owner/staff and the rural setting make this a real gem. If golf is a leisure activity for you then you will truly enjoy Indian Hollow.An interesting course to play for average players looking for a change. Not overly hard because not overly long -- but not super easy. Not bland but not elite. One of my favorites to play. My favorite is Sleepy Hollow -- Indian Hollow has some terrain similarities
Variety in holes. Fairly open straight holes to narrow tree lined dog legs. Very major changes in elevation on some provide interesting shots and interesting views.
Water in play on some holes -- especially for short or off line tee shots. Greens on small side -- have to hit them to putt. Modest undulation -- not fast. No sand traps. Greens and fairways have nice grass this year -- lots of rain.
Green fees and carts seem exceptionally economical at times of day we play. Very modest but serviceable club house area.
