Wonderful course with great variety and scenery. Plenty of hills and water. Playable for all skill levels except I believe there is a powerful ball magnet in the trees to the right off the #18 tee. Is very well kept in all seasons. A few blind fairway valleys so be aware of folks behind and ahead of you, ring the bell when coming off #17 to "clear" for folks behind you. Wonderful staff. Can get crowded on weekends. Not fancy or expensive but is simply a quality experience.

Course is well kept with friendly staff. Mike, the owner, is awesome just to sit and talk with about anything. I've golfed here a few years and this year finally got a membership. Sometimes those larger sticks from trees are rather annoying but that's being super picky about a nice course.

This is a fun nice course to play, it is hilly and undulating. The greens on the front nine are brutal- they will make even a good putter feel frustrated and stupid. I'm guessing the greens were rolling between 10 and 11 but on the front nine you'll swear the rolling 13 because of the undulation and severe breaks. If you average 250 to 270 yard drives, the course will play fairly short for you. You will have your fair share of uneven lies but I would say that they are minimal. The greens were rolling true and we had real good ball marks on the greens -the greens were accepting iron shots and sticking. I shot 44 on the front and 37 on the back and the difference was all because of the difficult undulating fast greens on the front, they are brutal. The Bentgrass tees and fairways are in good shape. The course has a very nice paved cart paths and has a fun layout with nice sand in the bunkers. it is well-maintained and I say a bargain for the price of $28 on the weekend.

Group of 6 including 3 family members paid for 18 holes plus carts. When we came to back 9 there were 12 groups lined up that and the back 9 would not be available for over 3 hours. When we asked for a raincheck or refund for 9 holes, they said they could not do that. They could have simply sold us 9 holes when we checked in. Instead they took our money for 18 knowing well in advance it would not be available...additionally lawn crew drove in front of us for four of the nine holes we actually got to play. Simply poor management.

This course is always very well kept even in the poorest of weather. The greens are always in good condition and challenging. I consider Valley View the best public coirse in the mid Ohio area.
