- This is an excellent golf course, keep in immaculate condition year round! If you ever visit Bluffton, I recommend checking out this little gem. If you love golf you would be doing yourself a disservice by not playing this course.I admit a bias. This is where I learned to play golf in 1955 and I loved it. Today I play mostly on the course that will host the 2012 USGA Amateur Championship or on Golf Magazines' #12 rated of the top public courses in the country, but I still miss Bluffton.
The original 9 hole course was superbly fitted to the terrain. These holes still exist with different numbers, but the original 9 was the better course.
The price reported by others makes this course a "best buy".
